Kenneth La'Brease Hunter, affectionately known to many family and friends as La'Brease. He was born, September 4, 1993, to Kenneth Charles Hunter and Valerie Shipp Hunter in Gastonia, NC. Kenneth transitioned his life on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia at age twenty-eight (28).
Kenneth was designed with a unique personality, which made him tailor made. To know Kenneth is to love him. His uniqueness is what made him able to connect with such a diverse circle of friends. Family and friends may describe him as quite and reserved most times, once he warms up to you, you're guaranteed to meet La'Brease. He would greet you with long talks about factual events (we know he would argue something down if he knew he was right), loud laughs and enjoying the moment.
He gained his early education with Gaston County School Systems where he later attended Warlick Academy. In, 2011 Kenneth became a proud graduate of the first graduating class of Warlick Academy. His determination was the driving force behind him taking part in this great milestone. At an early age Kenneth received Christ and became a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where he was an active member of BKD as well as the Drama Ministry.
